Keeping in mind, the need for devolution of necessary administrative authority and resources to fulfill their developmental responsibilities, it also becomes extremely important to lobby and advocate for the same at the Micro, Meso and Macro level. The PRAGATI group primarily seeks to influence legislation and public policy by empowering the women, it works with and keeping them at the helm of affairs. At an annual open floor meeting called the Open Forum, the EWRs themselves put across their views, grievances and demands before concerned policy makers concerning areas such as governance, health, and welfare.
